REMINDER TO ALL NATIVE ARTISTS: 25th Annual Native Art Contest

Peace Hills Trust hosts the annual Native Art Contest in support of Native culture. The Native Art Contest was established in 1982 to promote the work of Native artists throughout Canada. Each fall entries are judged in various categories and prizes are awarded at an awards ceremony. The Native Art Contest has proved to be an integral part of shaping our proud history and will remain an ongoing contribution to our Company’s support of Native culture. UNN AGM 2007- Youth Empowerment and Regeneration

UNN Provincial Aboriginal Youth Governance

UNN held its 38th AGM in Smithers, BC on July 21-22 2007.  Preceding the AGM, 17 youth actively participated in a summit that included workshops that were developed to enhance participation, and build leadership skills.  The youth were extremely enthusiastic, demonstrating outstanding involvement and interest in all of the business at the AGM. Overall, we had great feedback from everyone, the youth were highlighted for always asking intelligent questions, and applauded for bringing forward resolutions that build strength while enhancing the theme of Empowerment and Regeneration.
