Vancouver production company is looking for a woman or man who is fluent
in Cree to host an aboriginal children’s show.
We are looking for a person between the ages of 25 – 60 to play the
after school daycare teacher on a Urban Cree language childrens’ series
to be broadcast on APTN.
The host will be responsible for teaching children and having fun in
both Cree and English. TV experience not required but prior teaching
experience with Cree language preferred, and must be comfortable in
front of a camera.
We are also looking for 2 – 3 Cree children who are wanting to learn
their language, and have fun on television. Being comfortable in front
of camera is a plus. Children will go on field trips in the city with
their daycare teacher, sing songs, make jokes and play games.
Shooting will take place from end of July until beginning of September.
