Greetings everyone,
We are organizing a community meeting (the third one) for community support workers for the upcoming compensation package being offered for Indian Residential School Survivors. There is a lot of pertinant and important information to be shared for survivors and service providers regarding the common experience package and the Independent Assessment Process for additional compensation.
Please plan to attend this important session on Tuesday July 17, 2007 from 10 – noon and 1 -3 at First United Church Gym, 320 East Hastings. Refreshments will be served.
We have identified many questions to which we are seeking answers, The IRSSS will be in attendance to help shed some light on these important issues as well as PIVOT Legal Society.
If you are a service provider in the dtes area, please plan to attend to get the information you need to assist your clients.
