Kasp and Combz of 7th Generation have traveled to 37 communities in 3 months over the summer of 2006. They have been to BC, Alberta, Washington and the Northwest Territories to spread their inspirational messages to motivate youth of all ages and backgrounds. The tide of support is swelling to combat the closure of the Native Education Centre/College. People from all Nations across Canada are sharing their concerns, ideas and resources. People are expressing their thoughts with traditional prayer and song, through written words like emails or letters, by phoning to share stories with NEC staff, and by joining in rallies and marches. To help organize the surge of support letters and messages, the homepage of RedWAY BC News has been updated to include a link to a “community response survey.” The intent is to provide a single point of contact for the community to record their responses.
