The Forgotten Indians: urban aboriginals and the current state of dialogue with governments’ forum will establish the future direction of the UNN and to have input from the UNN members/constituencies.

The United Native Nations will host a forum this month to create meaningful dialogue and to communicate with our members on current urban aboriginal issues with the federal and provincial governments today.

A Step Backward: United Native Nations Responds to Federal Budget

“The new federal budget is a step backward for Native people. We are going back to the funding levels of fifty years ago. The money provided for Native people is nowhere enough to address the needs of urban Aboriginal peoples,” stated United Native Nations Vice President Dave Dennis.
