FREE COMPUTER SKILLS PROGRAM

These workshops are free, but are intended for people who are either unable to pay for courses or need these skills in order to return to work.  There are two levels of computer workshops.

1) Basic computer skills workshops are for individuals who have little or no previous experience with computers.
This workshop includes an introduction to the computer, typing skills, MS Word, Internet, and email. 
The basic computer workshops run for six Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30.

2) The advanced computer skills workshops are for individuals who have basic knowledge of computers and are interested in advancing their skills. The components   of the workshops include: introduction to Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Publisher. The Advanced workshops run for three Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 and focus on one component (example: MS Powerpoint for three Thursdays).
